We need your help if we are to make sure our church building remains fit for purpose, over one hundred years since its creation. There are exciting plans to develop the space at the back of church, improving and expanding the toilet facilities, adding a small kitchen and generally making a more welcoming entrance, but we are short of the funds to complete this work.
On Saturday March 2nd at 7.00pm we are holding a Promises Auction in St Alban’s Church Hall, with fund-raising very much in mind. Please put the date in your diary – better still, invite your friends and make up a table of 8-10 guests who would have fun bidding for the goods and services on offer, while enjoying the bar and the light refreshments which will be on sale.
There will be Ploughman’s suppers available to purchase for £5 on the night.
We have some great promises:
• A week in a luxury apartment in Portugal
• Tickets for Mark Watson in Bath
• Days out including Bristol Ferry Company
• Services including Will writing and gardening
• Goods including coffee machine and champagne
• Many, many more!
Individual ticket £1
Tickets available from firstname.lastname@example.org or see Kate Maddock or Nicky Walton in church.
