Christmas Gift Service

This year our Christmas Gift service is on December 8th at 10.15am. As usual we are collecting for the Community of the Sisters of the Church in St Paul’s. Can you find the lost sheep?

The Shepherds of Bethlehem have lost their sheep in Westbury Park in December and they your help to find them and bring them all back in time for the Christmas Eve service at 4pm in St Alban's Church. You will be seeing lovely cuddly knitted and individually named sheep around the shops and businesses and we need as many people as possible to get a sheep spotting form (available from the Church Office at 4 North View, Flowers by Barry Toogood on Coldharbour Road or Caffe Arabica on North View) so that you can let us know where all the sheep are staying. Every form returned to the church office will be rewarded with chocolate and there will even be the chance to buy one of the woolly creatures at a silent sheep auction. Don't forget to come to the Christmas Eve Service at 4pm at St Alban's to see the whole flock finally reunited. If you're missing the Gromits the sheep...

All Souls – A Time to remember

The time around All Souls' Day is when the church particularly remembers departed loved ones. This year we will be holding a  service of prayer for all those who wish to remember and give thanks for those they have lost. The service will be at 3pm at St Alban's on Sunday November 3 This can be a meaningful service for everyone who has lost someone they love - either recently or a long time ago. It is for those whose grief is still raw and for those who have come to terms with their loss and an opportunity to remember and give thanks for those who have travelled on life's journey with us. During the service there will be an opportunity to light a candle for your loved one(s) and to hear their name read out in our litany of  remembrance. If you would like a name or names read out, please contact the parish office either by phone 973 1562 or by email...
