Christmas can be a painful time for some: for those who are missing a loved one, for those who are reminded of difficult times, for those for whom life is difficult right now. Saturday November 17 from 2.30 to 4.30 at Westbury Park Methodist Church. Our Christmas Fair is a community event and this year is on Saturday 17th November at Westbury Park Methodist Church, 2.30pm. Whether it’s shopping for Christmas presents, a range of activities for the children, or chance to catch up with your friends over fresh coffee, tea and cake - there will be something for everyone. Father Christmas is planning to pop in too! The WI are bringing along delicious homemade preserves, stationary and Christmas decorations; White Tree Preschool, Brownies & Beavers have been busy creating gifts & a wide range of activities for children to join in. Remembering and the Armistice

St Alban’s Church.  Saturday 10th November 10am - 4pm St Alban’s Church was completed in 1915 and as a consequence many of its most beautiful features have been given in memory of those who died in WW1.  As we approach the 100th anniversary of the Armistice we would like to invite you to come and explore the church and to look at those poignant reminders of local people who died in war.  There will also be the opportunity to see some of the work done by Westbury Park School children as part of their week of studying WW1. We will also be marking Remembrance Day at our morning service on 11th November at 10.15am - All are welcome....
