Promises Auction – a reminder

We need your help if we are to make sure our church building remains fit for purpose, over one hundred years since its creation. There are exciting plans to develop the space at the back of church, improving and expanding the toilet facilities, adding a small kitchen and generally making a more welcoming entrance, but we are short of the funds to complete this work. On Saturday March 2nd at 7.00pm we are holding a Promises Auction in St Alban's Church Hall, with fund-raising very much in mind. Please put the date in your diary – better still, invite your friends and make up a table of 8-10 guests who would have fun bidding for the goods and services on offer, while enjoying the bar and the light refreshments which will be on sale. Christmas can be a painful time for some: for those who are missing a loved one, for those who are reminded of difficult times, for those for whom life is difficult right now.
